I read Gail Maria’s post on Vibrant Nation where she asks a friend why, as a mature female single person, she could never get a second date.
Her friend’s advice was to just listen and not talk when she is on her first date. Boy, if that is what a mature single woman must do to get a second date, then forget it.
I don’t know about you but I am no spring chicken. I am a sassy babyboomer with opinions and much to offer in a conversation. Therefore, I am not going to site idle like a teenager sitting at the feet swooning over a rock star when I am on a date. It truly is not going to happen.

I am sorry if “Men have competition all day in business and don’t want it with a woman during down time”. I have competition all day in my business (especially with men who think they are better then me) and I still have the strength and self esteem at the end of the day to enjoy a mutually beneficial and stimulating conversation with another person. No games for this mature single, just relaxing fun.
